Workshops
We provide interactive cultural workshops for schools, groups, and organizations, focusing on Mexican states, Mayan, or Aztec culture.
Workshops combine history, storytelling, music, movement, and hands-on learning. Participants can learn traditional dances while understanding their cultural significance.
“I am the current President of the student organization at Carroll University. We hired this dance group. They did an amazing job on the performance and educating those who attended the event. I highly recommend this group to anyone looking to learn more about culture.”
— Lyla T.
“being the only non-Spanish speaker in the room, I was taken by just how much I understood a program that was entirely in Spanish. It just goes to show you how effective the hands-on activities and demonstrations are. You’re an amazing educator!”
— Melanie from Milwaukee Water Commons
Ancestral ceremonies
We honor pre-Hispanic Mexican traditions through ceremonies celebrating life, reflection, and community. We respect our ancestors and would like to share a representation of it.
Examples include:
- Ceremonies of Reflection & New Beginnings – Mark new projects, birthdays or personal journeys.
- Marriage Ceremonies – Symbolic unions in a meaningful and traditional way.
- Fertility and Harvest Ceremonies – Celebrate nature’s cycles.
- Rites of Passage – Milestones and grows
- Connecting with Nature and Community – Promote balance, wellness, and spiritual connection
- Blessing ways – Meaningful practices, gatherings, or traditions that honor, uplift, and support individuals or communities through positive intention, cultural ritual, and shared values.
Each ritual integrates music, dance, symbolism, and/or storytelling, connecting participants to ancestral traditions.
“The ancestral ceremony for my granddaughter was very special. I was looking for something meaningful for her special day, and the ceremony was symbolic and beautiful—just what I was looking for. My family and I are very happy with the service.”
— Enrique R.
